Opposition Party (APC) !

The opposition are gearing up to rescue power from the incumbent Peoples Democratic Party led government but they should not forget quickly that taking power from the PDP is like fighting corruption.

Corruption is now a cancerous and it keeps growing right back with ever surgical procedure undertaken. With every come back, it becomes even stronger and more deadly!

So for power to change hand, it goes beyond pages of the papers and press releases.

It should be more strategically and technical.

The simple breakdown is that the opposition should go to the grassroots and start making its underground work to knock off the existence of the ruling party.

These procedures should be carefully establish ... more detail is in progress.

I hope Mr. Fashola is reading this

It will interest the government of Lagos state that its officials at various local government area have turn their various offices to joint where various type of unethical behaviour are practice. Alcohols, women and cigarette are freely displayed and consume with impunity.

Some of the government agencies earn more wages/revenue (in their personal pocket) daily than the state government.

The average man on the street is ready to fully co-operate with the government if a friendly approach and mechanism is put in place in the area of revenue, fines and taxes.

For example, how do you expect a common man to operate/accept a system that is corrupt, inefficient and frustrating? My point is, how do you expect someone to pay for a fine of N5000.00 while he spends more than extra N7000.00 to achieve this! At the end of the day, the government only gets a fraction of about 20% of the above amount mentioned. This might sound ridiculous but this is what we experience daily.

It is so painful to know how cheaply government agencies now turn public offices into a personal cash point. They live far more in excess of what they earn.

If you want more detail, ask a victim (the common man)!
